Compatibility and checks

Exact native versions: Claude Code 2.1.294; Codex 0.162.1; OpenCode 1.18.18. Switching requires a Git project. Unsupported versions or saved history formats stop the transfer and preserve the source. OpenCode requires an explicit model selection.

Claude compacted or ambiguous branch histories and Codex compacted or inherited histories, local media references and paginated rollbacks are unsupported. Relay stops the transfer and preserves the source.

The installed Claude Code 2.1.294, Codex 0.162.1 and OpenCode 1.18.18 passed isolated text, tool and image import/readback checks. These checks make no model calls. Live model recall on this exact release remains a separate customer-build check.

Structural checks exercise original messages, corrections, tool evidence and embedded images through the installed native stores without model inference. The release report records the exact tested versions and results. Private reasoning and permissions stay with each assistant. Long conversations remain subject to the receiving model’s context limits.

Claude Code desktop imports require host review and a signed-in app. Codex transfers resume in the terminal; automatic Codex desktop indexing is not supported. Imported Codex messages are model-visible but may not appear in its past-message pane. Custom-provider users should select their provider in Codex before continuing. Ordinary ChatGPT/Claude chats and cloud sessions are unsupported. Physical-phone pairing is not yet verified. The phone browser needs your own private HTTPS network and an awake Mac.

The interactive landing-page example illustrates the flow; its responses, code changes and test results are simulated. Transfers themselves make no model calls. Continuing sends the conversation to your chosen AI provider. There is no hosted transcript sync or phone push.
